thoughts from oppenheimer
the idea of imagining the death of innocent people due to your creation haunts you before it even happens. how do you stop it before it happens? do you stop it? what are the consequences of hating it? what is the obscene obsession of governments wanting to remain "on top"?
how can you return to a normal life after you create something so successfully detrimental to a group of people?
why do people have so much hate for those who aren't like them? even oppenheimer vs. the american government -- they couldn't stand to have a left weing individual having security clearance from the fear of him being a communist.
how do you emotionaly deal with the weight of the intense feeling of grief from someone like oppenheimer?
why are some people so desensitized to seeing humans gravely injured or dead? how does one get used to it
